Seinfeld
moment :)
Boss: I'm going to get right to the point. It has come to my attention that you and the cleaning woman have engaged in sexual intercourse on the desk in your office. Is that correct?
George: Who said that?
Boss: She did.
George: Was that wrong? Should I have not done that? I tell you I gotta plead
ignorance on this thing because if anyone had said anything to me at all when I first started here that that sort of thing was
frowned upon, you know, cause I've worked in a lot of offices and I tell you
people do that all the time. |

going to where I want to be :). |

So I decided
to take the IQ test from Tickle
and as it turns out my I have an IQ of 140.
That's interesting to know. One should probably take the result of
the test with a grain of salt. On another interesting note I found a
site with IQs by nation
as well as the corruption index by nation and Canada is in a pretty
great shape, so I'm glad that I'm living in such an awesome country
as Canada. Anyway, midterms are on their way so I
better start studying for them. |

This is
turning out to be a pretty good 4B semester. On top of compilers,
distributed systems, software engineering and my fine arts elective
I find that I have the most time this semester since working in
Vancouver ! I feel great :) The plan for this semester is to live it
to the fullest! Last weekend Durafei, Santars and I went to Rev.
There is a plan to go to the bomber today, and Phil's on Friday.
We'll see if I can push these plans through. |

other stuff. Water, water, water... No thanx I'm drowning. |

This will end
up being an awesome weekend! Got to see the Thrillseekers (Steve
Helstrip) for free. Read the party the reviews here.
Then on the July 31st I went to English bay for some
fireworks, and tonight we have Astral Projection performing live at
Plush. Read the hype here |

Updated the
pics section. Added more quotes. I've moved into my new place 16
days ago. I love living downtown! Next big party is the D&B
event on the 23rd of this month. It will be crazy. I miss
Toronto!
My current status is: So broke. Have to cheap out! |

Just two more
days till AVB and A&B will be playing at The Plaza of Nations! I
can't wait for this! =) Then PVD in Seattle, and Motion Notion
during summer! Many of my links are now broken. I need free
space to host my pictures and music. I also thinking of adding a
random picture of the day as well as an Astrology section to this
site. Eventually, maybe after a year I'll do that. I've ran the
sun run a few weeks back and I was able to finish 10km in 50:00 mins.
I finished it in position 3407. I was 2863 in the male division, and
284th in my age group. Sweet :). The 2004 Sun run results can be
found here results,
my bib number was 21841.
My current status is: broke |

Updated the
quotes section. As for my state of being. I'm doing fine. Vancouver
is a fun place to be. I'm planning to go to Victoria with Mir and a
few buddies from work this weekend. Also, next week we have Corsten
and Kid Vicious playing at Luce. Corsten will be debuting his new
album called Right of Way! This will be an amazing party! I'm
especially looking forward to the Twisted party (Armin Van Buuren
and Above & Beyond ) in April as well as the PVD and J00F
parties on April 24 and 25. I thinking of going on a trip to Seattle
and then Calgary to see PVD and then J00F. Nothing has been
organized but this may be worth the money. Music is life as some
say. I may add more pics from Van and Whistler. Whistler was mesmerizing! |
| Sunday Feb 15,
2004 |
Added the pics from Vancouver. My next small project is to add search capability to the pictures section so that it would be easier to locate stuff. |
| Tuesday Feb 10,
2004 |
Due to popular
demand I finally uploaded the pictures. I'll add more photos from
Van as soon as I find the time. |
| Friday Jan 16,
2004 |
I've been as busy as a bee lately, and maintaining
this site is one of my least priorities. I will eventually upload the photos from the trip. Having not
yet settled in Vancouver, and not having an i-net connection are the primary reasons why I will not concern myself
this sites maintenance. On the other note, Vancouver is a beautiful city with
tons of things to do. The weather here is amazing! Van never gets any negative
temperatures. There is tons of entertainment! Seattle is right near by! Whistler
is about an hour drive! There is so much culture here! Anything from food to
museums, to art galleries, to art theatres. So much to do and so little time. *sigh*

Cassini was launched October 15th, 1997 from Cape
Canaveral by a TitanIV/Centaur Rocket. The Cassini Spacecraft was
created by JPL. The European Space Agency (ESA) built the
Hugens probe. At present, Cassini is on its way to Saturn,
and it's estimated to get there in less than a year.
The images that this craft is taking are truly breath taking :).

"A 22-year-old student at Stockholm University, Elin
Oxenhielm, may have solved part of one of mathematics' greatest unsolved problems."
This problem is considered number 16 of 23 greatest 20th century problems,
laid by Prussian mathematician David Hilbert in 1900. "Over a century
later only three of Hilbert's problems remain unconquered, numbers six,
eight and 16. Number eight is the famous Riemann hypothesis to do with prime
numbers, regarded by many as the most difficult problem in maths
today." Read more here.

"Geologists have discovered evidence of a massively powerful earthquake zone beneath the
Pacific Northwest just offshore from the Seattle area. Thought to be inactive, the earthquake
zone runs 600 miles up the Pacific Coast from Northern California to southern British Columbia.
It appears to be subject to monster quakes every 500 years." :-(

"Scientists at the
Welcome Trust Sanger Institute in
the United Kingdom have documented a total of 200 billion letters of DNA.
That's a lot of data, and it's a lot like an encyclopaedia of
incomprehensible words until someone comes along and figures out what the
letters all mean." This is a big step because the information that was
once available to the elite scientist, in private labs, can now be accessed
by everyone around the world that would like to make a contribution. Check
out their site Ensembl.

A start-up company in Israel has developer a processor that uses optics instead of silicon.
This processor is currently the size of a palm pilot but "it is an acceleration of 20 years in the development of digital
hardware! The processor performs 8 trillion operations per second, equivalent to a super-computer and 1,000 times faster than standard processors, with 256 lasers performing computations at light speed."

Apparently one can
get free online books (ebooks and etexts) at www.gutenberg.org.
"Earlier today, Project Gutenberg's founder, Micheal Hart, announced that the project has passed the milestone of 10,000 free eBooks available, with the publication of the Magna Carta.Project Gutenberg was founded in 1971, with the aim of "[making] information, books and other materials available to the general public in forms a vast majority of the computers, programs and people can easily read, use, quote, and search." In the 32 years since the project started, over 10,000 books, ranging from the Bible to school textbooks, and from the complete works of Shakespeare to the USA's declaration of independence, have been made freely available to the public by Project Gutenberg."
Enjoy, the free readings :)

Updated
Electronica section by adding a tune called Andain - Beautiful Things
as well as the lyrics.
Apparently, UW
students can get a free copy of WinXP, OfficeXP as well as .NET from the
offices located on the first floor of MC! This is just a rumour, but I'll
check it out and try to get my copy of .NET ASAP :)
Once I have .NET I'm planning to write a sync engine to do web<=>my
local directory synchronization for photos. Got to love automation :)
Also, eventually I'm planning to release my next mix
which will either be Hard Trance or Progressive Trance. Depends
which mood I am in.
